Our clients, a young family, had purchased their period home in Brighton and were keen to stamp their own personality on it.
A series of renovations and alterations had resulted in a confusion of style and our brief was to maintain the integrity of the house while creating a cohesive design aesthetic. Taking our cue from the beautiful bayside location, our colour palette incorporates splashes of blue, green and slate against a clean neutral base. Warm timber boards, stripped back and revitalised, meld against earthy tones and rustic touches; a sisal rug and botanical upholstery, the transitional link to a stunning outdoor entertainment area.
Unexpected elements and quirky accessories transform a dreamy child’s bedroom and creative study joinery ensuring a place for everything. The gracious formal lounge impresses with its elegance, yet remains welcoming and child friendly.
This inviting home now truly reflects both the family’s character and contemporary lifestyle.
